Wes Brown is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He founded CogentBlue to provide objective, multidimensional financial advice to clients looking for help with their wealth management needs.

Wes spent nearly six years in personal tax before pursuing comprehensive wealth management in 2007. Wes holds a Bachelors degree in Business and Psychology with a Minor in Music, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Wes has been featured numerous times in various local and national media outlets, and has written extensively on topics centered around the intersection of money and life.

Wes' personal interests include spending time with his wife and three kids in the mountains of Tennessee or on the coast of Maine.

Dr. Sonya Lutter, Ph.D., CFP®, LMFT, is an expert in financial psychology, financial therapy, and financial behavior.

Sonya is the founder of ENLITE, which further bridges the gap between finances and therapy for professionals. As a co-founder of the Financial Therapy Association, Sonya has built academic training in financial therapy and the psychology of financial planning. After spending time at Kansas State University, Sonya now works at Texas Tech University in the School of Financial Planning as the Director of Financial Health and Wellness.

Sonya’s book, Love & Money: 15 Exercises to Strengthen Your Relationship, is about the importance of discussing values and family, before finances lead to conflict.
